First Day-Mata Shailputri-
Shailputri,Daughter of Himalayas.She combines the power of Brahma,Vishnu and Lord Shankar.
Meaning: In Sanskrit, Shail means The Mountain.Thats why Shailputri is known as the daughter of the mountain(Himalayas).
Navratri: In Navratri,She is worshipped on the first day of Navratri.
Representation: She is also known as VRISHARUDHA because the mount of her is bull.She carries trishul in Right hand and the lotus flower in left hand.
