  Second Day-Mata Braham Charini-
Maa Brahmacharini is the second avatar of Maa Durga who is worshipped on the second day of Navratri. “Brahm” means “Tapa”. So It means TapaCharini.The unmarried form of Maa Durga is known as BrahamCharini.
 Representation: She worshipped as the goddess of love,loyalty,wisdom and knowledge.Her one hand holds a Kumbha or water pot and other holds a rosary beads of rudraksha.

 Mantra:
    या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।
