 Fourth Day-Mata Kushmanda- Kushmanda Devi is the fourth form who created the universe.Kushmanda Means: Ku-"A little", Ushma-"Warmth" Anda-"The cosmic(world) Egg.The universe was full of darkness Until her right spread in all directions.
Representation: She is worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri, Devotees follow her blessings for dispelling light in their lives.She is depicted with eight or ten hands.She carries glitters,weapons etc. in her hands.She rides a lion.

या देवी सर्वभूतेषु माँ कूष्माण्डा रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।
